ESET Promotes Matthew McManus to Vice President of Sales |

SAN DIEGO – October 15, 2008 – ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection, today announced that Matthew McManus has been promoted to the position of vice president of sales. McManus, formerly the director of sales operations, brings 17 years of sales, channel development, operations and leadership experience to his new role. McManus will be responsible for leading the North American Sales Team and will provide strategic channel direction and operational excellence to the organization. Prior to ESET, McManus had successfully developed reseller programs for GEM Solutions (OTCBB: GEMI), St. Bernard Software (OTC: SBSW) and ENCAD, a Kodak company (NYSE: EK). McManus began his career as a sales associate with AirTouch Cellular / Verizon (NYSE: VOD), where he built and ran the sales call center for the San Diego market. McManus joined ESET LLC as the director of sales operations in 2007; in this role he has shown strong leadership in developing ESET's sales team and business processes to improve the ESET customer experience.
