| The awesome hand-built 450kw Mosler MT900R - regarded by many supercar
fans as the world's fastest road-going car - will carry the NOD32 name
to television screens around the world when it takes on Australian and
international racing teams in the inaugural Bathurst 24 Hour Endurance
Race. This event is destined to become one of the world's greatest endurance races. The unique road circuit has hosted some of the most exciting touring car races in the world, and the new 24 hour format is attracting global interest. Bathurst's world famous Mount Panorama circuit is renowned as one of the great challenges in motorsport. Over 6.2km of closed public road, it rises from the city outskirts to an altitude of 870 metres before a thrilling downlill roller-coaster plunge to the world famous engine-destroying Conrod Straight. The 300kph-plus Mosler MT900R will be competing in Group 1 (the top class) at Bathurst. It will be up against a variety of exotic Group 1 supercars from around the world, including the ferocious home-grown Holden Monaro, European entries from Porsche, Ferrari. and Lamborghini, the American Chrysler Viper, and the Japanese Honda NSX. Simultaneously racing in other Groups (or "cluttering up the track", according to diehard Group 1 fans) will be hot competitive entries from Ford, Holden, Ferrari, Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Porsche, Mazda, and BMW. Rollcentre Racing's team of skilled engineers believe they've sorted out their car to make it the fastest and best-handling MT900R around. They say their entry is ultra-competitive and stands an excellent chance of both Group and Outright wins in the hands of experienced endurance drivers Martin Short, Charles Lamb, and Mark Pashley. |
