ESET Tops Worldwide Growth List for Consumer Security in Leading Industry Analyst Firm’s Security Software Market Share Report

ESET today announced that for the second straight year, Gartner has ranked the company as the security software vendor with the largest worldwide growth in consumer security. According to Gartner’s “Market Share: Security Software, Worldwide, 2011” report, which was released in late March 2012, ESET grew by 30.10 percent.

ESET Secures Fourth Consecutive “Advanced+” Award in Performance Test from AV-Comparatives

ESET Tops the List with the Least Amount of System Impact ESET announces that it has secured its fourth “Advanced+” award in performance testing from AV-Comparatives, an independent research organization. The latest test measured the impact on system performance of 20 antivirus products. In addition to receiving the highest possible number of “Advanced+” awards in performance testing, ESET has received more “Advanced+” awards in retrospective tests than any other vendor, which is given to products that have excellent heuristic detection rates and low false positives.
