Natas

These are destructive, resident, polymorphic, multi-partite, stealth viruses, that tunnel interrupts. When the infected file is executed the virus infects the hard disk MBR and has a 1-in-512 probability of formatting hard disks. All variants of the virus contain an encrypted text string “BACK MODEM”. Next to this, specific versions of the virus contain other encrypted texts.
