Selected viruses, spyware, and other threats: sorted alphabetically

This virus was given its name after the string contained in its body. It is an encrypted, non-resident, EXE infector. It infects files not only in the current directory but it also traverses to other disk locations. Length of an infected file is increased by more than 1.5kB. The virus saves the number of its generation and, at certain conditions, it informs the astonished user about it in form of a note:

V1.01 ser.No : 00000

(where in the position 00000 is the generation number. When this virus is executed it randomly increases the value of one byte on the disk. This is very malicious activity because the user has practically no chance to notice it. The results may be extremely destructive: damaged data base, important program etc.
