Necros

Necros is a resident, satelite, encrypted COM and EXE infector with body length of 1164 bytes. This virus redirects service of interrupts INT 3, INT 1Ch a INT 21h. It infects files as they are executed. When an infected file is executed the virus checks the date and on November 21 it installs interrupt INT 1Ch service which after certain time will start a sound effect and will write the following text on the screen:
Virus V2.0 (c) 1991 Necros The Hacker. Written on 29,30 June in Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland. Happy Birthday, Necros! Virus V2.0 [FrIEND]
The virus contains also another text but that is not displayed:
