Selected viruses, spyware, and other threats: sorted alphabetically

A page has appeared on Internet which enables each surfer to generate his own virus.
The generator makes it possible to create a virus with the following optional qualities:

• using instructions of processors 386
• treating codes for Windows 95
• infecting COM and EXE files
• treating INT 24
• possibility of infecting files with set read - only attribute
• keeping the original date and time of file origin
• avoiding dangerous files from the given list (e.g. anti-virus programs)
• direct infecting of files in the route, in the current directory and of the file command.com with setting the maximum number of opened and infected files
• resident code infecting upon a file start up as well as at searching through directory
• possibility of setting self-identifying function
• stopping heuristic emulators (rather ineffective)
• stopping heuristic analysis of Norton Anti-virus
• deactivating of resident protections Vsafe, Safer, Fguard 7.50, 7.70 and the line AvgSys 3.2 to 5.0
• deleting Chklist.ms files
• possibility of setting program deactivation defined by user optional pre-defined activities (writing of specified text on the screen, deleting the hard disk, resetting or stopping computer)
• free defining of activating condition and of the code of action
• a lot of tuning switched including the possibility of generating the virus source code in the assembler

Some viruses appeared also in wild but their chance to spread in larger scale stays only on theoretical level.
