Selected viruses, spyware, and other threats: sorted alphabetically

This Czech virus was created as a reaction on an aggressive advertising campaign for washing powder of the same name. The virus itself is a simple, memory resident COM and EXE infector 1687 bytes long. In memory it occupies 2448 bytes. It attacks files only at their opening. On each New Year’s Day, but also on some other days, the virus presents itself by a graphical effect – it displays colourful texts:

In the virus body is a visible text string “HAPPY”.
