ESET today announced that it has secured its fourth "Advanced+" award in performance testing from AV-Comparatives, an independent research organization. The latest test measured the impact on system performance of 20 antivirus products. In addition to receiving the highest possible number of "Advanced+" awards in performance testing, ESET has received more "Advanced+" awards in retrospective tests than any other vendor, which is given to products that have excellent heuristic detection rates and low false positives.

ESET Partners with OPSWAT through Metascan Online to Increase Malware Detection

OPSWAT and ESET today announced that ESET's antivirus scanning engine will now be included in OPSWAT's Metascan Online. The partnership will help to improve Metascan Online, by including the malware detection capabilities of the ESET engine to the site's scanning process.
