ESET Cybersecurity was previously made available for public beta testing on December 2, 2009, under the name ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Mac. The product is now entering the final stage of public testing.

The Release Candidate version includes:

• Removable media blocking and control (CD, FireWire, USB, Other
• Performance optimizations
• Improved product stability
• "Check for product updates" functionality

The Release Canddate of ESET Cybersecurity complements the security features already in Mac OS X, proactively protecting Mac users from cybercriminals seeking to profit from stolen personal information or attempting to exploit user behaviors that can lead to system infections.
