ESET's Bonnie McMenomy Recognized by Everything Channel's CRN Magazine as One of the Top 100 Women in the Channel

ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection, today announced that Bonnie McMenomy, channel marketing manager-east has been recognized by Everything Channel's CRN Magazine as one of the Top 100 Women in the Channel. The Top 100 Women in the Channel were chosen by the editors of the magazine based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. The Top 100 Women in the Channel represent a changing trend in a traditionally all male industry.

The great economic challenges this past year have resulted in stronger channel collaboration between ESET and its partners. As Channel Marketing Manager-east at ESET, McMenomy has continued to build on a strong foundational channel program and strategy that has been able to grow with the evolving demands of ESET's North American channel partners. By focusing on the needs of ESET's vendors rather than cost-cutting, McMenomy is able to collaborate successfully with each of her partners and maximize their experience with ESET.

"We are very pleased to see women executives reaching the highest levels in a wide range of dynamic companies. It is with great pleasure that we honor the women who have made a profound impact in the technology marketplace. We offer our congratulations to McMenomy for her significant contributions to our industry," said Robert C. DeMarzo, senior vice president and editorial director, Everything Channel.

"We are honored that Everything Channel recognizes Bonnie McMenomy as a distinguished channel executive," said Dan Clark, vice president of marketing and research, ESET, LLC. "Bonnie's recognition by the community validates ESET's commitment to our channel partners."

A special feature of the Top 100 Women of the Channel is in the August issue of CRN Magazine and expanded coverage will be featured online at www.channelweb.com.

About ESET
ESET develops software solutions that deliver instant, comprehensive protection against evolving computer security threats. ESET pioneered and continues to lead the industry in proactive threat detection. ESET NOD32 Antivirus consistently achieves the highest accolades in all types of comparative testing, and is the heart of the virus and spyware detection in ESET Smart Security. ESET Smart Security is an integrated antivirus, antispyware, antispam and personal firewall solution that combines accuracy, speed and a small system footprint to create the most effective security solution in the industry. Both products have an extremely efficient code base that eliminates the unnecessarily large size found in some solutions. This means faster scanning that doesn't slow down computers or networks.
