St. Louis College of Pharmacy Finds the Right Prescription with ESET for Combating Malware

From the EDUCAUSE conference, ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection, today announced that St. Louis College of Pharmacy has selected ESET NOD32 Antivirus software to protect its student laptops and campus network from evolving malware threats. Following an outbreak of IRC-bot Trojans during the 2005 to 2006 calendar year, the college required a more sophisticated antivirus solution that would proactively protect its technology assets from emerging threats, while offering greater flexibility in scheduled maintenance and administration. Rigorous testing of antivirus solutions led them to ESET antivirus software, which was implemented last spring and is fully deployed across all systems in use by students and staff who returned to school this fall.
