Quoted in the podcast is Nancy Willard of the Center for Safe and Responsible Internet Use, who says, “In Connecticut, there is now a precedent: if the school district’s technical system is not absolutely, totally secure and if there is ever a situation where a student accidentally views pornography or spyware is accidentally downloaded which delivers pop-up porn sites, then whatever teacher is supposed to be supervising the students is at high risk of arrest and conviction.”
