Aircop is a memory resident boot virus. It decreases the amount of DOS accessible memory by 1 KB. Aircop infects diskettes boot sectors and will save the original data to Cyl 39 Side 1 and Sector 9. Location where the boot sector is stored is not protected in any way and that may cause “freezing” of computer when it is booted from an infected diskette.
