Antigus

Antigus is a resident, polymorphic, parasitic, 1570 bytes long virus. It contains the interrupts INT 21h and INT 8h. If the system date is July 24, the virus will write:

Happy birthday to me! :-)

Its body contains notices like:

E-VIRUS II aka Anti-GUS. 12th December 1994.KL,Malaysia. TM was here!

It contains a routine that will adjust the volume of channels 1 to 8 to zero. This is weird because there are 32 channels and they are numbered from zero. It means that muting of GUS is not complete and it may happen that a confused owner takes the audio card to a repair shop.
