Socka

This is a parasitic, direct action EXE infector. It increases infected files by 851 bytes. It attacks files to which the system variable PATH leads. That, in most cases, means more attacked files at the moment after execution. The virus works improperly with data in the header (specifically with number of pages) and as a result rather large number of infected files is not functional. Besides, the virus does not always recognize itself and files being attacked several times really have only minimum hope to be functional. Fortunately, this does not complicate cleaning very much. When executed on June 6th the following text is displayed:

Trieda 4.C v tento den roku 1994 zapasila s maturitami a vyhrala!!!
(Meaning: On this day of the year Class 4.C struggled with final high school exams and won!)
