ESET, leading Europe-based IT security company, has won the accolade „Champion 2017“ in a user rating survey of security solutions in the categories “Malware Protection” and “E-mail Security”, as carried out by the German analyst firm Techconsult. The company (part of IT media house Heise) surveyed 2 400 businesses and their views on IT security solutions used on company networks. Out of the 180 solutions from eight cybersecurity vendors, ESET prevailed as the Champion.
In the category “Malware Protection”, ESET scored especially high for both the “Company (producer) Rating” as well as in the category for quality of the endpoint solution “Technology / Solution Rating”. In the category “Email Protection”, Techconsult also declared ESET the Champion. The analyst firm and the surveyed users judged seventy criteria across 14 categories. The results have been recognized via Techconsult’s „Professional User Rating“.
