Threat intelligence (TI) is an important component in the life cycle of a threat, and to better understand its purpose, you need to first look at ESET’s Adaptive Security Architecture. Gartner refers to TI in reference to the four main components of a security framework: predict, prevent, detect and respond. In years past, ESET has been heavily involved in both the prevention and detection stages. Now, in order to offer more to our enterprise customers, we’ve harnessed the power of our 100 million sensors around the world to support the prediction part of the equation.
Who would want this? What does a threat intelligence service actually do?
