ESET Announces Update of Antivirus for Mobile Devices

ESET introduces an updated version of its Mobile Antivirus solution. The new features of ESET Mobile Antivirus includes the Quarantine function providing the user with an option to select between direct cleaning of infiltrations or their allocation to quarantine, where they no longer represent a threat to the system. The user can subsequently decide whether these files are to be erased permanently or fully restored to their previous place.<br />
The activation of ESET Mobile Antivirus can be accomplished by entering directly into the mobile device to be protected either the assigned username and password or the registration key issued by ESET. <br />

ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection, today announced the availability of an update release to ESET Mobile Antivirus.&nbsp; Included with this release are the following usability improvements:</p>

  • Faster scrolling of the End User Licensing Agreement
  • Availability of the signature database version information in the About dialog

ESET also announced discontinuation of the offline activation option originally offered to customers without Internet access from their mobile devices. Based on customer feedback, this option was deemed unnecessary.
