ESET Releases ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server Version 4.5 Release Candidate
ESET, the leader in proactive protection celebrating 25 years of its technology this year, announces the release of the last testing version of ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.5.
Built on ThreatSense®, the industry's most accurate proactive technology for detecting all types of threats, the new product brings convenient, fast and minimal- impact security solution to companies using Microsoft Exchange Server. Delivering thorough protection against all e-mail borne threats at the mail-gateway level, ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server 4.5 RC scans company e-mail traffic with industry-leading precision.
Among others, the RC version of the product brings two main improvements - real file type detection incorporated into rule based scanning and improved installer. The installer supports the migration of all previous version settings (v4.2 or v4.3), while the eShell command line control lets administrators run scripts to perform actions or create/modify configurations.
Using ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server 4.5 RC, the company can benefit from the enhanced Antispam engine with improved detection rates. All important antispam settings are now fully integrated in the product’s GUI. The real file type detection enables the company networks administrator to apply policies for specific type of content in e-mail attachments.
Being compatible with ESET Remote Administrator, now available in 12 languages, the product is increasingly suited for businesses with international presence. In July 2012, ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server earned the Virus Bulletin’s “VBSpam”. ESET has ranked among the top products in both antispam categories: the lowest rate of false positives and the best spam catch rate (of close to 99.5%) which is further proof of ESET Mail Security’s powerful antispam engine and its reliability.
