Managed Service Providers receive boost from ESET with two additional Direct Endpoint Management Plugins

Next story

Today, ESET announced the expansion of its MSP offer with new ESET Direct Endpoint Management (DEM) plugins, adding two well-known players in the MSP space, SolarWinds N-Central and Autotask (now Datto).

The first of the two Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) plugins mentioned here integrate with SolarWinds N-central’s console, speeding up and improving installation processes by establishing a direct connection to ESET endpoints. The second plugin, Datto’s Autotask AEM, also creates a direct connection between ESET endpoints and the popular dashboard.

Use of the ESET DEM plugins means there is no longer a requirement for MSPs to install ESET Remote Administrator, nor any additional need for servers or intermediate consoles. MSPs can get up and running faster, and stay running with fewer issues caused by complex integration.

“Globally, MSPs are growing rapidly in importance and ESET is committed to helping them deliver the services their clients require,” said Jeronimo Varela, Director of Global Sales at ESET. “We’ve received positive response to our Direct Endpoint Management plugins which has already made the effort worth it. Extending that functionality to Autotask and SolarWinds N-Central customers can only make it more so.” These (DEM) RMM plugins bolster ESET’s portfolio for MSPs and offer industry leading integration with some of the most popular consoles in use today.

"With the new ESET plugin for Autotask Endpoint Management, ESET has raised the bar on what is possible with AEM plugins. We were impressed while working with them on their level of knowledge on AEM and how they were able to translate that to user benefits. They've put in a lot of effort to make sure users of ESET and AEM can now have a more efficient support and security management process when using these solutions in combination", said Matthé Smit, Director of Product Management and Endpoint Management, Datto.

These two additions further cement ESET’s footprint in the MSP space bringing the total number of direct endpoint plugins to 3.
