Heading to Black Hat? Stop by ESET’s booth for a chance to win a trip around the world

At Black Hat USA 2018, one of the largest cybersecurity conferences in the world, there is never a dull moment, from hacking demos  to industry expert panels to cutting-edge security technology on display. And for us here at ESET, it is an opportunity to showcase the latest and greatest in endpoint security, as well as our latest enterprise security solutions and services.

And of course, Black Hat would not be Black Hat without some awesome prizes. To celebrate our global influence, we’re giving a trip around the world to one lucky winner and his or her companion.

Around the World

Many people don’t realize that ESET is one of the largest endpoint security vendors in the world, operating in over 200 countries and territories, and the #1 ranked security vendor in the European Union. Some of the largest and most iconic companies that are global household names use and trust ESET’s endpoint security to protect their business.

You can visit the ESET booth during Black Hat (#928) to enter to win the pair of around-the-world tickets. Plus, after each presentation at the booth, we will be giving away smartwatches, Star Wars Jedi Challenge AR headsets and more!

Attendees can sign up for a demo and get more information about ESET’s presence at Black Hat here.

What else is ESET up to at Black Hat? Our security experts will be out in full force. Security evangelist Tony Anscombe will be presenting on “Malware as the New Weapon of Mass Destruction,” a phrase he recently coined to highlight the dangers of massively destructive malware tools. Anscombe’s talk is on Thursday, August 9, at 2:30 p.m. PT in Business Hall Theater B.

Also, ESET’s Robert Lipovsky, the malware researcher who made waves at Black Hat USA 2017 with his team’s discovery of Industroyer, the first known piece of malware to control electricity substation switches, will be back to discuss some of his latest cyberespionage research and will illustrate how strong global malware research directly supports ESET’s multilayered detection technologies, helps train its unique machine-learning algorithms and effectively prevents malware infections.
