ESET NOD32 Antivirus has achieved more Virus Bulletin VB100 Awards than any other product. In order to get awarded, product must detect all In-the-Wild viruses while reporting no false positives. ESET NOD32 has never missed an In-the-Wild virus.

2012 Reader Trust Award
ESET Smart Security has been recognized as the Best Anti-Malware Management solution after proving the product’s success and overall impact to the Reader Trust Voting Panel who are SC Magazine readers that are high-lever IT security executives.
Certificates
ESET is the only antivirus company to achieve ICSA antivirus detection certifications for both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. ESET Endpoint Security is certified on Windows 7 64-bit in both antivirus detection and cleaning. ESET NOD32 Antivirus Business Edition for Mac is certified on Mac OS X for antivirus cleaning.
West Coast Labs' Checkmark certifications are given based on products' ability to detect and remove threats. ESET currently holds Checkmark certifications in both detection and removal of infections across our endpoint, mobile, file server and mail server security product families.
In September 2010, ESET Smart Security received the VMware Ready certification, which ensures that ESET is fully compatible with the VMware environment.
In 2009, ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 and ESET Smart Security obtained the “Compatible with Windows 7” logo.
After extensive testing and evaluation, the CheckVir laboratory certified ESET with the Highest Advanced Rank (2008).
In December 2008, ESET Smart Security was awarded with CheckVir Mailscanner award. To pass the certification process, antivirus products must stop all infected outgoing and incoming e-mail messages.
Each quarter, AV-Test.org tests security products in the areas of protection, repair and usability. ESET met all the requirements and achieved certification for both the Windows 7 and Windows XP Operating System.
ESET NOD32 v5.2 was certified as Windows 8 compatible by AV-Comparatives after it successfully underwent tests which evaluated e.g. whether the products could be installed on the system, if the included protection features worked properly, the stability of the program during a stress test and whether the product behaved properly or not.
