Highlights of your career: Accepted speaker at the RSA conference, co-designer of our in-house ML systems, member of several international botnet eradication working groups (e.g. Dorkbot, Gamarue, 3ve).

Position and history of ESET: My current position is a Director of AI Security Labs at ESET, where he leads research and engineering teams applying artificial intelligence to cybersecurity, with a focus on automated threat detection, threat hunting, and LLM-powered security workflows. Since joining ESET in 2013 as a malware analyst, I have worked across malware research, software engineering, and AI, helping bring deep learning, generative AI, and agentic systems into real-world security operations. What malware do you hate the most? Scareware and ransomware.

Favorite activities: Cooking, gardening, home automation projects and computer games.

Golden rule for cyberspace:  First of all, use your brain. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

When did you get your first computer and what kind was it? My first memory of a computer that comes to mind is at maybe 10 year old, when I was starting to learn to code in Visual Basic under Windows 98 and was ecstatic about creating and showing message boxes.

Favorite computer game/activity: Tinkering around any and all aspects of technology. Out of all computer games I like, Factorio is probably the favorite one.
