ESET re-aligns partnership in Japan with Canon Marketing Japan

Singapore, January 8 2019ESET, industry-leading developer for IT security software and services, recently announced the re-alignment of its channel partnership in Japan. Having previously worked with Canon IT Solutions (CITS), ESET’s partnership will now be run via Canon Marketing Japan (CMJ) as both parties look to expand the business solutions offering within the enterprise segment.

“We are appreciative of the ongoing support from our channel partner Canon IT Solutions. Moving forward, we look forward to continuing our work with Canon Marketing Japan to fulfill customer needs and services. Japan is an important market for ESET and we hope to further support growth following the launch of our new office last year and now via this renewed partnership. With the added resources, we will be able to focus on the enterprise segment and drive new sector growth for business solutions in Japan,” said Ignacio Sbampato, Chief Business Officer, ESET.

Through its previous partnership with CITS, ESET was able to establish a presence in the country within the consumer and SMB market. The restructuring of management to CMJ will further strengthen ESET’s positioning within the consumer and SMB sector.

This will help us address growing cybersecurity needs, particularly in the enterprise sector. About the research

ESET surveyed 900 IT decision makers in businesses across the world – 500 in the US, 200 in the UK and 200 in Germany – on their attitudes and opinions on AI and ML in cyber security practices. The research was carried out by third-party research company OnePoll.
