We must hope for the best but prepare for the worst. One potential trap many companies fall into is that of complacency, and of believing that they are not a potential target. However, cyberattacks are making the world smaller, thereby applying continual global pressure.

In the last 12 months, we have once again seen an explosion in more targeted, sophisticated attacks on businesses and have learned to expect the unexpected. Criminals take advantage of situations very quickly, however, and there are still plenty of things we can all do to help reduce the threat landscape and build a more protected society.
