Android threats are a serious concern, with the Blue Ducky script being a notable example. This script exploits the CVE-2023-45866 vulnerability in Android devices.
By running the Blue Ducky script, an attacker can:
- Inject keystrokes to control the device
- Load saved Bluetooth devices that are no longer visible but still have Bluetooth enabled
- Automatically save any devices scanned
- Send messages via ducky script format to interact with devices
Fortunately, this vulnerability was disclosed and patched at the end of 2023, highlighting the critical need for regular updates and security patches. However, this is just one instance from the extensive array of threats targeting Android devices.
