ESET®, the global leader in proactive digital protection with a record of 10 consecutive years of winning the prestigious VB100 awards with its ESET NOD32® technology, will showcase its portfolio of products for mobile devices at the GSMA Mobile World Congress. From February 24 until February 27, 2014 in Barcelona, Spain, ESET will reaffirm its commitment to protecting users of mobile devices with the next generation of its security solutions – ESET Secure Authentication and ESET Mobile Security. Coinciding with the Mobile World Congress, ESET is launching a #mobileweek initiative enabling users to enjoy premium features of ESET Mobile Security at just the half of its original price on Google Play and Amazon App Store.
“At Mobile World Congress we will showcase two exciting applications for mobile devices. A strong and easy to use two factor authentication solution ESET Secure Authentication and the latest generation of our Google Play top rated ESET Mobile Security for Android which is engineered to protect smartphone and tablet users in their everyday connected lives,” says Ignacio Sbampato, ESET Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
The latest edition of ESET Secure Authentication launched just days ago is an advanced two-factor (2FA) authentication application which provides a potent combination of ultra-secure access to online applications, while introducing even greater ease of installation and support. The added integration flexibility provided by the Software Development Kit (SDK) and Application Programming Interface (API) extends the protection to even wider range of applications and data. The first version of ESET Secure Authentication was released in 2013 and proved that strong multi-factor protection is a critical component of protecting today’s companies from potential damage brought on by a successful cyber-attack.
In addition, the new version of ESET Mobile Security, includes the option to create customized versions for TELCO operators. The completely rebuilt and redesigned security product for Android has improved scanning, an Anti-Phishing module to protect your data and a sleek user interface.
However the biggest change is the new Anti-Theft web interface enabling user to locate, remotely wipe, trigger siren or even take pictures from front and rear camera of stolen or lost device via my.eset.com. The testing is open for participation, simply by joining the Google+ Community page: ESET Mobile Applications BETA Testing.
