ESET to Participate at the 13th Interntional Security Conference (ISEC) in Korea

KOREA, SEOUL, 2 OCTOBER 2019 – Parvinder Walia, Sales and Marketing Director, Asia Pacific and Japan at ESET, will be hosting a press conference in conjunction with the 13th International Security Conference (ISEC) in Korea, on Wednesday October 2nd 2019. During this press conference, Parvinder will be presenting on ESET’s response strategy to advanced (intelligent) cybercrime, the current state of cybersecurity and the evolution of cybercrime in recent years, with a focus on Advanced Persistent Threats (APT).

“The emergence of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and IoT, present new mediums for cybercriminals to leverage. As these threats become increasingly sophisticated, it is important that users understand the potential dangers. Recently, we’ve seen an increase in the number of cyberattacks in particular Advanced Persistent Threats (APT). This is a cause for concern, because of the nature and repercussions of such attacks,” said Parvinder Walia, Sales and Marketing Director for Asia Pacific and Japan, ESET.

ISEC 2019 will be the 13th edition of the International Security Conference since its inception. The conference is expected to attract more than 5,000 industry leaders and practitioners to the various talks and workshops on offer. It has become a well-known and important exchange platform for information security professionals, both locally and internationally.
