ESET, the leader in proactive protection celebrating 25 years of its technology this year, has achieved rapid growth of ESET’s global market share in June’s OPSWAT report. According to OPSWAT’s Worldwide Antivirus Vendor Market Share report, ESET was the fastest growing paid Antivirus software globally. ESET, now with an 11.1% share, was growing at the fastest pace from all the analyzed companies – by 2.1%. OPSWAT releases quarterly market share reports for several sectors of the security industry. This report includes worldwide market share for antivirus software and operating systems. The data used was collected between May 16, 2011 and May 15, 2012, and features comparisons across two 6-month periods.
