ESET Joins Top European Companies as European Business Awards’ Ruban d’Honneur

Next story

ESET, the leader in proactive protection against cyber-threats, is competing among dozens of top European companies in the 2011 HSBC European Business Awards. In the first stage, ESET has been selected as Slovakia’s country finalist and later has received Ruban d’Honneur as one of the top ten businesses in the UK Trade & Investment category for innovation.
The work that ESET is doing in preventing malware getting into people’s computers is very valuable. And of course, they have to keep innovating on their [detection technology] because the people who produce malware never sleep. Innovation is for ESET vital, both in terms of their own business success and for keeping their customer base free from threats, says Philip Forrest, Chairman of European Business Awards’ Judges.
“ESET is honored to be invited as one of the top ten European companies in innovation category. Ruban d’Honneur award along with a streak of other accolades in the last few weeks, is further affirming our position as a leader. We are looking forward for Tuesday when the winners are announced,”
adds ESET Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Ignacio Sbampato.
The European Business Awards is an independent Awards programme designed to recognize and promote excellence, best practice and innovation in the European business community. The Awards highlight and promote examples of individuals and organizations that achieve outstanding results across a variety of disciplines – from environmental concern to customer focus – results that set them apart as leaders in Europe.
“It is wonderful that all 27 member states of Europe come together [as entrants of the European Business Awards]. We want a strong Europe and you are participating in the process of building a strong Europe, piece by piece,”
commended both the Awards and the entrants Christine Lagarde, the head of the International Monetary Fund.
