ESET Launches New ESET SysInspector

Next story

Stand-alone system diagnostic tool, Version 1.2 now with a built-in Service Script

ESET SysInspector that comes standard with a new generation of security suite - ESET Smart Security is now available in its new stand-alone version. The new version is a full-fledged replacement of the earlier one and is available in 9 language mutations, including Slovak, Czech, Polish, Russian, English, German, Spanish, French Canadian.

It can be downloaded from the company’s website.

The new version of ESET SysInspector serves as a diagnostic tool allowing ESET customer support specialists to gain a complex overview of the operating system and better identify the system processes. It now contains a new functionality in the form of the Service Script.

The Service Script helps with cleaning of stubborn infiltrations which cannot be removed using standard means. The user can submit a SysInspector log detailing the infiltration directly to ESET Online Support. After this log is processed by ESET support specialists, a custom text script (Service Script) that removes the infiltration is generated.  It is subsequently sent back to the user for execution directly from the SysInspector GUI.

Users of the standalone version of SysInspector are able to generate and run Service Scripts by themselves, without the need to revert to ESET support.
