BRATISLAVA, November 24th, 2022 ESET, a global leader in cybersecurity, today announces a new partnership with RadioLAN, a major internet service provider in West Slovakia and a member of the Slovanet Group.

ESET NetProtect is a Protective DNS (PDNS) solution that protects internet users against unwanted, malicious, and fraudulent websites by filtering domains before they are accessed by devices using a household internet connection or home Wi-Fi network. The solution is provided as a one-click service activation for RadioLAN’s customers and automatically protects any connected device. Security tailored to customers’ needs is ensured by offering robust local customer support along with comprehensive protection that is a step ahead of online threats. This takes place via PDNS and ESET’s access to a unique set of malware detected and pooled at a worldwide network of research and development centers.

ESET NetProtect can effectively protect devices connected to a home network from leaking sensitive information, such as bank card details, before malware is installed on the device. ESET NetProtect allows users to manage the lists of banned and allowed domains (custom blacklist and whitelist) and set up optional web content filtering by category (parental protection). The service also includes a monthly overview of blocked or filtered domains, malicious sites, and blocked cyberthreats.

“At ESET, we always develop products with our customers in mind, and with our ESET NetProtect offering, we have created an easy-to-use and elegant solution for all of RadioLAN’s customers,” said Mária Trnková, ESET’s VP for the consumer and IoT segment. “We see ourselves and our technologies as the guardians of progress that digital technology enables. Our objective is to provide effective digital security that keeps consumers safe in every moment and in any eventuality.”

"We at RadioLAN, welcomed the opportunity to work with such an important partner as ESET and implemented the new ESET NetProtect solution both technically and commercially as soon as possible. We are proud that we launched this service as the very first operator not only in Slovakia, but globally," said Sandra Plišková, RadioLAN’s sales director.

Telecom operator Slovanet, RadioLAN's parent company since March 2022, is also planning to deploy ESET NetProtect technology in the near future.
