ESET presents: Cybercrime Trends and Predictions for 2015

Next story

ESET research have summarized the Cybercrime Trends and Predictions for 2015 on WeLiveSecurity.com. The detailed report with the same title will be soon available on WeLiveSecurity.com. While last year’s focus was on internet privacy and Android malware, 2015 is predicted to bring more sophisticated threats.
Advanced Persistent Threats (ATP) will play big role in upcoming year. Attackers will target specific victims, institutions and companies even more precisely with malware authors trying ever harder to avoid detection. Attacks, similar to BlackEnergy campaign and the Operation Windigo, are likely to appear in even stronger forms. Smart devices and even smart cars become attractive for new generation of cyber criminals as well as on crypto-currency or passwords.
