The International Data Corporation (IDC) “Worldwide Modern Security Market Shares” study places ESET among just five vendors who shaped the endpoint security market in 2022.
 
By recognizing ESET as a vendor that shaped the year, IDC includes our organization among those vendors that had to deal with the dynamic changes in the endpoint security market in 2022 – especially the strengthening of the US dollar – and who handled the situation in a manner that is worthy of recognition.
 
The study presents ESET in a detailed profile in which IDC recognizes our continuous market growth and examines our active stance on the Russia-Ukraine war, which has led ESET to “cease all sales to businesses and organizations in Russia and Belarus as well as terminate all Russian channel partnerships.” More importantly, IDC notes that “ESET has leveraged its dense, in-region threat research to document the increase in cyberattacks targeting Ukraine.”
 
IDC further recognizes ESET’s long-term focus on research and development and highlights that ESET’s “R&D investments have doubled in size from 2016 to 2022.” ESET’s “longevity, continuing investments, technical prowess, and financial stability” all together “position the company well to strengthen its market growth in the EU.”
