ESET Receives the 78th VB100 Award, this time the Comparative Review on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 11

In February 2013, ESET, the leader in proactive digital protection - developing award-winning technology for more than 25 years, has been awarded VB100 Solid Award in the Virus Bulletin’s annual anti-malware review of products for the Linux OS. This certification for ESET Security for Linux confirms that based both on the “on demand” and “on access” scanning, ESET software detects all in-the-wild malware and has no false positives.
ESET submitted a compact 60MB single RPM installer for testing, which according to the Virus Bulletin Report ran through quickly and simply. “Updates were rapid at around two minutes on average. The core sets presented no problems as usual, and ESET’s epic string of successes continues, with no tests failed or even skipped for many years. No stability issues were encountered, earning the product another ‘Solid’ rating”, states the Report.
Furthermore, ESET Mobile Security for Android has received certfication from AV-Test. Being tested among 22 competing Android apps, ESET received an overall score of 95 % with no false warnings during installation of legitimate software from Google Play.
