1. The Contest Organizer
The organizer of the contest (here in after referred to as “Contest”) is ESET, spol. s r. o., having its registered office at Einsteinova 24, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, registered in the Commercial Register administered by Bratislava I District Court, Section Sro, Entry No 3586/B, Business Identification Number: 31 333 535 (hereinafter referred to as “ESET”).
2. The Contest Objective
The objective of the contest is to support information security, brand and product awareness of End Users and supporters of ESET and ESET Products.
3. Object of Contest
Everyone that meets requirements stipulated under the Article 4 of this Contest Terms (hereinafter referred to as “Participant”) shall be entitled to actively join the Contest by attending one or all of ESET’s presentations in its entirety, held at ESET booth #7H41 in hall 7 at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, and providing contact information either by submitting 1 business card or filling out 1 form provided to participant by an ESET representative at the booth.
4. Participation Requirements
The Contest is open to all physical entities older than 18 years who at the period of contest duration have no employment relations to ESET, its organizational entities or any one of the ESET affiliate companies under the ESET group. Participation is limited to 1 entry of Participant for a Prize. Participant may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities or devices to circumvent the Contest Terms. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the Contest Terms, Participant’s submission will be removed Contest at the sole discretion of ESET.
5. Prize
The Immediate prizes: After each presentation, there will be a drawing for an immediate prize. Immediate prize shall be Amazon Echo Dot of 3rd generation or Polaroid Snap Touch Instant Digital Camera. The Immediate prize winner(s) are selected on a random drawing basis and subject to a limited number of prizes. Once You complete watching the presentation, ESET staff will collect the contact details for a drawing. A random drawing will be conducted after each presentation for an immediate prize. The winner of the immediate prize has to be present to collect the prize and can chose one of the available prize options as described above. You can watch more than one ESET presentation and be eligible for a drawing of immediate prize after each presentation. You are limited to watching a specific presentation only one time. You will not be eligible to enter the drawing for an immediate prize of a presentation you have already attended.
All contacts gathered during the show on February 25-27 will be collected for a final drawing for the Main prize. - SONY SMART TV + ESET Smart TV Security license for 1 year, which will happen on February 27, 2019. Winner doesn’t have to be present to collect the Main prize, and regardless of presence will receive an email with instructions on how to receive it. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by ESET. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at ESET’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. ESET is not responsible for failing to fulfill the winner's tax obligations. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for ESET to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. ESET will inform the Winner about the value of the prize upon its delivery.
6. Contest Duration
Contest shall be concluded within period of February 25. – 27. 2019.
7. Data Protection
The Participant acknowledges that his/her personal data contained in Questionnaire will be processed by ESET exclusively for the purpose of this Contest and delivery of price to winning Participant. Personal information of Participants will not be provided or made available to any third party. The personal data of the Participants will be kept exclusively for the time necessary for the evaluation of the Contest as a contractual requirement. Personal data of awarded respondents may be stored for a longer period, but the retention period will not exceed the statutory time required by applicable tax legislation.
The Participant acknowledges that results of Contest shall be published by ESET on its website and/or social media accounts including the name and surname, results of winning Participant with photos/videos from awarding and/or contest’s ceremony. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for ESET to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The Participant may be contacted by the ESET post-event in compliance with MWC Barcelona 2019 Attendee Terms & Conditions https://www.mwcbarcelona.com/legal/attendee-terms-conditions/.
As the data subject, the Participant is entitled to the following rights: (a) the right of access to personal data from ESET as data controller, (b) the right to rectify incorrect data (as well as the right to update incomplete data), (c) the right to erasure of personal data (d) the limitation of processing and the right to object processing as well as (e) the right of portability; and (f) the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. 9. Final Provision
ESET is not responsible for the Participant’s conduct that is inconsistent with this Consent Terms and is entitled at any stage to decide to cancel and remove Questionnaire from the Contest and to exclude a Participant who does not qualify for the participation. The laws of the Slovak Republic shall govern these Contest Terms.
