1. Data which ESET collects and the way ESET uses:

a) Account Information: We collect Your ESET ID and related account details, including email address, devices registered, account status, ESET product details and license information. This data is collected so as to enable you to purchase, download ESET products, avail services for the same including technical support etc. and to enable features you have availed of the respective products.

b) Device Information: We collect data from which your device could be identified, such as device serial number, or about your device, such as browser type. ESET may collect information about your computer, including your IP address where available, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers under the legitimate interest legal basis. This is statistical data about Your browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. For the same reason, We may obtain information about Your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of Your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to Your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve Our site and to deliver a better and more personalized service. 2. Children’s Privacy

ESET does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18 without the prior, verifiable consent of his/her legal representative. If you are a child under the age of 18, please do not provide any personal information. If the legal representative of the child discovers that the child has provided ESET his/her personal information, we request the legal representative of the child to contact us as below details to have his/her personal information deleted.

3. Data Confidentiality & Processing, transfer & disclosure of data

ESET is a company operating worldwide via its subsidiaries or other local ESET Partners as part of our distribution, service and support network. Information processed by ESET may be transferred, shared to ESET affiliates and from local ESET Partners. 4. Time period ESET retains your personal data
