Message from ESET Leadership

AI, cloud services and connected digital ecosystems are creating new opportunities, but also expanding the risks organisations must manage. Cybersecurity is no longer only an IT concern. It is fundamental to business resilience and trust.

To understand how organisations are responding, ESET commissioned the ESET Enterprise Cybersecurity Report 2026 in partnership with Blackbox Research.

The findings show that despite growing investment, many organisations still face delayed threat detection, operational complexity and persistent human risk. These challenges are increasingly interconnected and require a coordinated response.

At ESET, we believe the strongest defence begins before an attack. A prevention-first approach—supported by visibility, actionable threat intelligence, effective governance and expert support—helps organisations identify risks earlier and reduce their potential impact.

We hope this report helps leaders make informed decisions, strengthen resilience and move forward with greater confidence.
