We’re just around the corner from CompTIA’s annual ChannelCona leading voice and advocate for the $1.5 billion information technology ecosystem—taking place July 31 – August 2 at The Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C.

There are a number of activities going on from IT security firm ESET that you won’t want to miss.

  • Cybersecurity expert and ESET Senior Security Researcher Stephen Cobb will be giving an IT Pro Track presentation on “Endpoint Detection and Response: The Next Frontier of Security” (Thursday, Aug. 2, 11 a.m. 12 p.m. ET in Delaware Suite, Lobby Level). The talk will also be live-streamed. Gartner predicts that the endpoint detection and response (EDR) market will grow to $1.5 billion by 2020 (an annual growth rate of 45 percent). During his presentation, Cobb will detail the opportunities of EDR solutions and provide practical advice for channel partners on its use and implementation.
  • ESET Partner Community Manager Cameron Tousley and ESET Partner Development Representative Andrew Sanders will lead a presentation on how resellers can incorporate managed services into their current business offering. ESET’s breakout session, “Moving to an MSP Model: ESET Makes it Easy,” will be in the Harding Room on Tuesday, July 31 at 10:30 a.m. ET. Attendees will also have a chance to win one of several $25 gift cards for correctly answering questions from the presenters.

The ESET team will also be on the main show floor at booth #100, providing information about the latest updates to ESET’s award-winning partner program and talking about its latest suite of security solutions for businesses. Earlier this year, ESET debuted its suite of security products, including ESET Enterprise Inspector, an EDR solution with features and granularity that surpass anything on the market.
