How can I renew, add more devices or modify my current subsciption?

You can renew, enlarge or upgrade your subscription at any time.

  1. Start by logging into eStore account using your Activation key or License key.
  2. To renew your subscription, select the “Extend” option and adjust the period or number of devices you’d like to cover.
  3. If you want to add additional devices keeping the original expiration date, select “Enlarge” and adjust number of devices you’d like to cover. We’ll match the expiry date and calculate the pro-rated price for your extra devices.
  4. Check your inbox for a confirmation email and further installation instructions.

Please note, that if you're currently using ESET Internet Security, ESET Cyber Security, ESET Cyber Security Pro or ESET Smart Security Premium, you’ll be asked to Convert your license to the respective ESET HOME Security all-in-one protection plan during each of these transactions.

If these options are not present in your account, it’s likely that your license has already expired. If this is the case, we recommend purchasing a new all-in-one protection plan.

How do I retrieve my subscription information?

If you have lost or forgotten your subscription information (username, password, or activation key), you can have it resent to your email address. Simply click here and insert enter the email address you originally used to register or activate your ESET subscription.

How do I download and install ESET after purchase?

You can install ESET by following these simple steps:

  1. Uninstall any previously installed antivirus software on your system.
  2. Click on the “GET STARTED” button on this page and create or login to your ESET HOME.
  3. Install ESET on your devices by clicking on "Protect device" button. In case you need to add your subscription first, use the “Add subscription” button.
  4. Choose your operating system and download the installer file.
  5. Install by following on-screen instructions.

How do I transfer my ESET subscription to a new computer or device?

  1. Uninstall ESET from your old device. If your old device is not working, disconnect the device from your subscription via ESET HOME.
  2. Download and install your ESET product on your new computer or mobile device.

How do I activate my retail product subscription?

If you have purchased a boxed ESET solution, you can activate it here.

How do I know if my ESET product has all the new features available?

All new features are available to customers using ESET HOME Security Essential, Premium or Ultimate subscription or ESET Internet Security or ESET Smart Security Premium product version 17 or higher. You can check which ESET subscription are you currently using here

Do I need to reinstall after renewing?

No, if you renewed your subscription you do not have to reinstall on the same computer. No further action is required for home users after renewal.

Some home users might experience a brief delay before the expiration date is updated and program module updates are downloaded. Your virus protection will remain active and your computer will be secure during this time.

How can I cancel my automatic renewal?

Auto-renew is continuous, unless you turn it off after your purchase, via your account. Turning off auto-renew will not cancel your subscription—your ESET protection will continue until it expires. We will notify you before expiration so that you may renew manually.

You may cancel automatic renewal at any time.  

  1. Start by logging into your account using your License key or License ID.
  2. Proceed to the Subscription Management page, where you may use the “Auto-Renewal” slider to cancel the renewal of your subscription.
  3. Confirm your selection to renew manually. 

I just renewed, but my old expiration date is still displayed in the program—why?

Users may experience a brief delay before the expiration date is updated and program updates are downloaded. Your virus protection will remain active, and your computer will be secure. If you renew before your expiration date, your new expiration date will not take effect until your original expiration date passes. If more than 24h pass and the subscription is still showing as not updated, activate your product again with your activation key.

I never received the subscription email containing my Username and Password/Activation Key – what can I do?

If you do not receive an email from ESET within 24 hours of purchasing or activation, see below for suggested actions to take: 

  • Check your spam and secondary inbox folders. 
  • Gmail users: Look in the Promotions folder. 
  • Visit the Lost License page to have your ESET-issued Username and License Key resent.  

If you still do not receive either message, your email address may have been misspelled during the purchase process. In this case, complete a technical support request

How do I upgrade my ESET Windows home product to the latest version?

  1. Uninstall your current ESET product.  
  2. Download the installation file of the latest version of ESET product here.  
  3. Double-click the file to open ESET Live Installer. 
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install and activate your ESET product.

Can I still use and renew ESET Internet Security, ESET Cyber Security or ESET Smart Security Premium?

If you currently have an active ESET Internet Security, ESET Cyber Security or ESET Smart Security Premium subscription, it will continue to provide the familiar protection until it expires. No immediate action is required on your part. When it's time for renewal, you will be given the option to convert your license to the respective ESET HOME Security subscription tier. This ensures the continuity of your product and protection. This transition will not result in the loss of any features.

Please note that to activate your protection using ESET HOME Security Essential, Premium or Ultimate, you need to connect your device to your ESET HOME account. You can easily do this by following these simple steps.

How do I download the installation file for my business product?

The recommended way is to do it via ESET PROTECT. Managing your endpoints centrally saves time, is more efficient and provides 24/7 peace of mind. Our security management console is included free with your subscription.

Can I upgrade or update my product to the latest version?

All products installed via cloud console are updated automatically.

If you want to upgrade or update your business software to the latest version, you can do so on this page. Choose your business product and follow the given instructions. 

How do I renew, upgrade or add devices to my business subscription?

You can renew your subscription online via your subscription account, where you can renew, upgrade, or add devices to your current business subscription.

How can I extend or upgrade my subscription before renewal period?

ESET does not currently offer a license extension program. However, you can renew up to 90 days before your license expires. If you decide to renew before your expiration date, your new expiration date will not take effect until your original expiration date passes.

Example: If you renew on the 15th of this month and your expiration date is not until the 1st of next month, your new expiration date will not take effect until the 1st of next month.
