About Charities
headspace - National Youth Mental Health Foundation
headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds across Australia. headspace is designed to make it as easy as possible for a young person and their family to get the help they need for problems affecting their wellbeing.
Research shows that 75 per cent of mental health disorders emerge before the age of 25. By treating these issues early, the risk of them developing into more serious problems, including suicide, is greatly decreased.
In the ten years since establishment, headspace has provided more than 1.5 million occasions of service and in 2015/16 alone more than 95,000 young people used headspace services including directly at centres oreheadspace.
Edge Pledge
The vision of Edge Pledge is to create a world wide social movement that connects people and makes them a part of an enduring environmental transformation.
Edge Pledge allows people to raise money for endangered wildlife by pledging to complete the most popular of three challenges, as voted by their friends, family and supporters. All funds raised aim to support practical projects assisting wildlife on the brink of extinction, delivered by our environmental partners.
Animals Australia
Animals Australia is Australia's foremost national animal protection organisation, representing some 40 member groups and over 1.5 million individual supporters. Animals Australia, along with our global arm, Animals International, has an unprecedented track record in investigating and exposing animal cruelty and for conducting world-first strategic public awareness campaigns.
