The match could not have been more impressive. The Borussia Dortmund vs. FC Augsburg kickoff took place in front of a sold-out crowd. Shortly before, Hans-Joachim Watzke, CEO of Borussia Dortmund, and Carsten Cramer, managing director of Borussia Dortmund, handed over the sponsorship jersey to ESET co-founder Anton Zajac and ESET Country Manager Holger Suhl as the official welcome to the new sponsors of BVB. The season opener of the black and yellows was also the start of the first fan action. More than 1,500 soccer fans of both clubs enthusiastically took advantage of the free transportation to the stadium in ESET cycle rickshaws.

Reinforcement for the IT defense of BVB
Hard to miss on this day was the commitment of the new Champion Partner. In addition to the sponsorship jersey handover on the sacred BVB playing field, the more than 81,000 stadium visitors in the sold-out SIGNAL IDUNA PARK watched the ESET-BVB video produced specially for the start of the season on the stadium monitors. Among the main roles in the video broadcast were BVB players Nico Schulz and Marwin Hitz, who showed with a wink their amazement at the signing of the new BVB defense.
