  • ESET becomes a technological partner of the Czech Banking Association.
  • Collaboration combines threat research, technology expertise, and consumer awareness to build resilience against digital fraud.
  • In a time of quick technological development, helping people recognize fraudulent behaviors remains the first line of defense.

PRAGUE — November 2, 2026 — ESET, Europe’s largest global cybersecurity company, has become a technology partner of the Czech Banking Association, supporting efforts to strengthen trust in the digital banking ecosystem.

The partnership expands ESET support to a broader approach to security that extends beyond banking infrastructure to help protect customers against social engineering and increasingly sophisticated AI-enabled fraud. The initiative makes it easier for people to identify scam attempts and understand common fraud tactics before any financial harm occurs.

Through the Czech Banking Association's #nePINdej! 2026 awareness campaign, running from September through December, ESET is contributing its threat research, expert insights, and educational content. ESET has also supported the update of Kybertest, a test that allows the assessment of one’s ability to recognize digital fraud. The contribution includes questions, explanations, and fraud scenarios based on ESET’s own research.

"We see great potential in working with banks and telecommunications companies, making security a natural part of services people use every day," says Michal Března, responsible for enterprise solutions sales at ESET in the Czech Republic and CEER region.

ESET’s partnership with the Czech Banking Association puts its threat research and expertise at the service of customer education, helping banks to provide customers with practical guidance, supporting their ability to recognize threats and make informed decisions under pressure.

"Protecting bank customers against fraud is a shared priority for the Czech Banking Association and ESET. While banks continuously invest in security, raising public awareness and helping people recognize fraudulent practices are equally important. By combining our experience in financial fraud prevention with ESET's expertise in cyber threats, we can strengthen our educational initiatives and help people better protect themselves against increasingly sophisticated scams," explains Radek Šalša, Head of External Communications at the Czech Banking Association.

The collaboration reflects a broader approach to cyber resilience delivered by ESET PRIVATE, combining tailored technology, expertise, and threat intelligence to protect complex environments, including critical infrastructure organizations. For banking, this means strengthening banks’ own security while helping them protect customers in their everyday digital lives, building trust in critical services.
