Windows 10 launched at the end of July and we’re pleased to say that ESET is Windows 10 ready. Further to our previous car hacking blog, more details have emerged.

Windows 10 has launched to wide consumer appreciation and equally wide IT researcher consternation, particularly concerning privacy and data tracking fears.

ESET software however is working as it should on Windows 10 provided you have the most up-to-date version. You can read our handy FAQ for more info.

Further to the blog post about a Jeep Cherokee being hacked Mark James, ESET IT security specialist; more details emerged about how hacks like this could develop in the future.

At this point it takes a highly skilled and highly motivated researcher with the right tech to actually exploit a vulnerability of this nature.

But no system is 100% secure and it’s only a matter of time before the baddies figure out a way to make money out of it. More info and Mark’s commentary here.
