Over the past decade, NCSAM has been recognized by Congress, Federal, State and local governments. On its 10th anniversary, NSCAM looks ahead at the cyber security challenges for the next ten years, dedicating each week to a different cyber security issue.

Starting in October, ESET, along with the San Diego Police Foundation, the Securing Our eCity Foundation (SOeC) and NBC 7 San Diego, will launch the 2nd annual “Calling All Parents” (CAP) campaign. CAP aims to raise awareness of privacy and online safety issues and educate parents on how to keep their families cyber safe. The CAP campaign includes an educational series of public service announcements that will run through January 2014.

On October 10th, the SOEC hosts CyberFest 2013 in San Diego, where ESET, along with partner organizations, will discuss the challenges associated with implementing cyber security best practices and learn practical applications and implementation processes from experts. Attendees will learn how to strengthen their company’s defense against cybercrime and malicious activity.

In addition, ESET will be participating in a Twitter Chat Series hosted by the Stop. Think. Connect campaign and the coalition of cyber security education organizations with federal leadership from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

As an industry leader, ESET stands united with public and private sector partners in sharing the vision of a safer, more resilient cyberspace that enriches consumer’s lives and promotes business growth.
