An (ISC)2 Women in Cybersecurity Report found that men currently outnumber women three to one in the field of cybersecurity. Striving for a more diverse workforce is critical to addressing the modern, evolving threat landscape.

“It’s inspiring to see how many young women are so passionate about this field and want to do good in the world with the technology skills they are developing,” said Celeste Blodgett, vice president of human resources, ESET. “The ESET Women in Cybersecurity Scholarship is designed to encourage and empower women—an underrepresented segment of talent in this industry—to pursue a career in cybersecurity. If this scholarship plays even a small part in helping, it will make what we do here at ESET worthwhile.”
