1. Eligibility:
This Sweepstakes is offered by ESET, LLC dba ESET NORTH AMERICA (ESET) and is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of ESET and/or its affiliated companies and family members of such employees may not enter to win the Sweepstakes giveaway. ESET reserves the right to stop the promotion or cancel the Sweepstakes without notice and at any time. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

2. Agreement to Rules:
By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decision of ESET as final and binding as it relations to the content of this Sweepstakes.

3. Campaign Period:
Entries will be accepted online June 1, 2017, 12:00 a.m. PST – June 30, 2017, 11:59 p.m. PST.

4. How to Enter:
Entries can be completed by visiting the online registration form (www.eset.com/us/comic) followed by watching a product demo sent to you via email. To be entered into the Sweepstakes you must watch a minimum of twenty (20) minutes of the online product demo. Registrants that do not complete at least twenty (20) minutes of the demo or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of ESET. You may enter only once and you must provide the information required. Winner must meet the eligibility requirements set forth in these rules in order to qualify for the prize.

In the event of a dispute concerning who submitted the entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized holder of the email account from which the entry is assigned by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

IMPORTANT: ESET is not liable for any disputes between collaborators related to a Submission.

5. Prizes:
The Winner of the Sweepstakes (the “Winner”) will receive TWO (2) tickets to Saturday, July 22, 2017 San Diego, CA Comic Con International conference. Travel and overnight accommodations for two (2) nights are included, up to $5,000 including all taxes and fees. No compensation or substitution will be provided for any difference in prize value. ESET shall in no way be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions, substitutions, changes in service or accommodations, or any other act, omission, or result thereof, by any air carrier(s), transportation company(ies), hotel(s), or any other service or accommodation providers. ESET is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or misdirected baggage. If, in the judgment of ESET, air travel is not required due to the winner’s proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for roundtrip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion and no additional compensation will be provided. Any prize details not specified herein will be determined by the ESET at its sole discretion. Accommodations to be provided by ESET’s vendor of choice. The Winner and guest must travel together, including the same departure date, destination, and return date, on days of ESET’s choosing. The Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining proper documentation prior to travel. Travel arrangements are subject to availability and restrictions may apply. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by ESET. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at ESET’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for ESET to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

6. Odds:
Based upon the estimated number of entries received, the odds of winning are 1 in 100. The actual odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received for this sweepstakes.

7. Winner Selection and Notification:
There will be one (1) winner. Winner will be selected by random under the supervision of ESET. Winner will be notified within five (5) days of the last entry day of Jun 30, 2017. ESET shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or liability for Winner’s otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within seven (7) days from the time award notification was sent the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT ESET’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

8. Rights Granted by You:
By entering this Sweepstakes, You understand and agree that ESET, anyone acting on behalf of ESET and ESET’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

9. Terms & Conditions:
ESET reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond ESET’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, ESET may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by ESET. ESET reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. ESET has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, ESET reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitations of Liability and Release
By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless ESET and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

11. Disputes and Jurisdiction:
THIS Sweepstakes IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF United States of America AND California, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in San Diego County, California having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
